If you have been directed to this article by a 123vISP Support engineer then you can download the freely available Bonded CD software from http://www.upstreaminter.net/bondedcd.shtml
What you need to know:
- We do NOT support the hardware and configuration of the Bonded CD software - it will require IT networking skills
- The above link contains a special external forum for learning and support
- We do provide an MLP username and any associated monthly licence fees required to make our broadband lines work with the Bonded CD software above
- The upstream bandwidth is bonded together, so for example, 2 lines at 832k upload would give you 1.5mbs upload
- The MLP username comes with 1, 8 or 16 IPs - just let us know how many you need!
- The download speed is not always what you would expect. Due to BTW limits it rarely exceeds 10mbs, so please view this solution as ideal for upstream bonding only. Any download speeds above 10mbs are a bonus!
- All of our usual tools and support are available as each line will also function as a stand-alone line for testing purposes
- The cost of the MLP username does not include the costs of each line
- You will need to pay any normal rental charges for any of our ADSL lines that you want to "bond" together
- You can use from 1 up to 10 lines - we've never tested more than 10... please let us know of your results if you do!
- There are no other charges at all
- You will require a suitable spare computer with:
- Intel USB chipset (not a VIA chipset)
- Intel CPU
- Network card
- Hard disk drive
- CD or bootable USB (see link above for full details)
- You must use either Thompson SpeedTouch 330SL USB modems or Sangoma S518 PCI cards.
- Thompson SpeedTouch 330SL USB modem are available from us direct
Please contact us directly at 123vISP Support if you require further information.
