Broadband Connectivity Problems - New

Earlier this evening we experienced a drop in a large number of customer sessions across our broadband network. This will have caused a large volume of customers to lose connectivity to the Internet. Our network engineers are currently investigating this. If you are struggling to connect to the Internet then please try powering off your modem or router for 30 minutes before powering it back up and attempting to re-establish a connection to the Internet.

BTWholesale have resolved the issue which caused some end users to disconnect yesterday. The situation has been monitored and normal balance has been restored to the service. Apologies for any inconvenience which this issue may have caused.

Broadband Connectivity Problems - Updates

The equipment which was not functioning is now taking sessions again and remaining stable. Currently the platform is out of balance and over the next few hours as we come closer to peak hours some users may experience poor throughput on some of the gateways. Our recommendation is for users with slow speeds and poor throughput to power cycle their routers first to try and reconnect to a less busy gateway.

We are receiving reports of some customers being unable to connect to the internet. Customers trying to connect may be failing to establish a connection and get online as normal. We are currently investigating this issue as a priority and will update further as more information becomes available.
